There was talk some months ago of federating the group hosting. Multiple !GNUsocial instances all share the message storage and distribution of !Fedgroups, and if one host fails it's detected by the other hosts who take over for it.

@hannes2peer Alltså, det har ju inte slagit mig förrän nu att man borde kunna ange "I have moved" och så fixar !gnusocial en 301 redirect. Man migrerar inga inlägg men det kanske kan hjälpa migranter en del i alla fall.

It's the !qvitter plugin distributing "delete notices" that are shown in the !gnusocial "classic" feed. Instead of handling deletes in the core, @hannes2peer went the quick route and implemented them arbitrarily in his plugin :]

If someone who can do pretty javascript (with something like space separated entries as fallback) could transform the "To:" dropdown list under the classic !GNUsocial interface's new-notice form to a pretty, automagic "mention these profiles" input field I would be happy.
