@rugk Willkommen hier - schau dich doch bitte zuerst einmal gründlich um, auch in den FAQ's usw. Es kommt immer etwas seltsam rüber, wenn Neuankömmlinge als erstes verkünden, was hier nicht gut ist, was man viel besser machen könnte usw. Natürlich kann man das immer - !gnusocial wird durch Freiwillige immer noch entwickelt und weitere Leute, die am Projekt mitarbeiten, sind hoch willkommen. Danke. #tipp -

@rugk Das sind alles Fragen, die ich leider nicht beantworten kann. Das musst du die Entwickler fragen, am besten auf Englisch in !gnusocial oder wenn - du magst - im IRC. -

!gnusocial Was mich noch bei #GNUSocial stört: Man kann in der Suche nicht so gut nach Personen (@vinvz) oder auch Gruppen (!quitter) suchen. Wenn es einen passenden Nutzer/Gruppennamen zu dem eingegeben Suchbegriff gibt, sollte dieser einem gleich ganz oben vorgeschlagen werden... -

@discussthang So if I get it right the Textile class itself has no problem with two smiley hyphens in the text - but it's the implementation into !gnusocial as plugin which results into strike through? @Tobias -

@hikerus BTW I am obviously the first one to actually read the code of the Textile class as not even @Tobias seems to have been aware that :-) are actually no problem :-) if you know your textile.
Still working on some !gnusocial incompatibilities of the class though. But confident I get around those too.

@lnxw48 Everything is optional now in my design of Textile, I updated the class, it will leave incoming alone and only process on request.
Therefore I do not think smiley conversion to unicode needs to be optional. /cc !gnusocial !fediverse

damn... any way to fix it. Maybe change the ID manually in the db? Couldn't this be more robust? E.g. first search the GNU Social server for messages linking to the blog and then use this message IDs? Just asking... !gnusocial !wpgnusocial -
