idea: petition the ftc to compel #twitter to federate with !gnusocial. their closed platform and opaque practices obviously constitute anticompetitve conduct.

@chc4 Your phone _does_ ask if you want to add GPS location data to the pictures. If it doesn't, you should stop using it altogether. I don't think it's a priority to remove EXIF tags since the default behaviour should be to leave data as untouched as possible. I have multiple use-cases where I want to publish and then harvest location data from uploaded pictures. I ag…

@takeshitakenji Everyone who have wanted to do that before have been running their own nodes, so injecting stuff into the database has been the solution. That's of course not available for ordinary users. So we have to program a UI for it in !GNUsocial.

@mmn Mean that when searching for good quality nodes to add to fediverse.org found huge amounts of wanna-be public nodes with old !gnusocial versions and totally abandoned, but still online. Just called my atention.
