@mangeurdenuage You make a good point about “surveillance capitalism” ... the big issue is systematic surveillance, whether that is motivated by financial reasons (Google, Facebook, Apple, Microsoft, etc) or political reasons (various governments around the world) or plain pursuit and abuse of power (school systems)

Listening to "Sanitarium" while taking the final exam in my institution's "Online Teacher Training" course (which, because I value my health and that of my spouse, I am forced to take during my summer research period). Whether I pass this or not, "Sanitarium" is appropriate.

Heard back from #sonOne. His phone died, so he's been using the work phone and forgot to pay the bill. The phones will be turned back on this month. No other bills are unpaid and they have plenty of food.
