   Got a call from $EMPLOYER, checking to see whether a recent technical glitch affected my assigned phone and laptop. Answer: No issues here.
   
   I thought, but did not say, you could call to tell me to come work on-site in an office in or near #MO or #NE as an in-person IT Manager, but you call to see whether I will have to call #support myself.

   I texted #GS1 and #GS2 today to ask for current physical addresses. The 23 year old responded back with an address. I'm going to send a $25 gift card. The 25 year old did not respond yet, so I'll send his gift card to my daughter-in-law with a "give this to $CHILDNAME next time you see or hear from him" note.

   @moon@shitposter.club mentioned a musical genre called “Italo Disco” that I had never heard before. So far, I’m on the fourth song on YouTube. I’m going to cautiously say this is music (from the 1970s and 1980s) that I would have listened to. Some of these uploads are new (as in yesterday and today), but the only description I found said it was a historical genre, pretty much confined to the above decades.

    Well, there's this answer.
    There are !gnusocial instances out there that have ActivityPub enabled, !loadaverage isn't one of them yet.
    When confidence in the implementation not making a mess in the database is high enough, you'll know :-).

    Hmm. My AT&T account number does not match the rules my bank knows about, so instead of electronic payment, they're going to mail checks. Hopefully, someone along the process will see the check and figure out what changes need to be made to make electronic payment work. (My bank and Sprint just suddenly got things working one day many years ago.)

    TFW you know there was a repeated word in sequence in something you wrote, but you just cannot find it. So you dump it to text, put one word per line using "tr", and diff the raw list and the list obtained from "uniq" to find the one darn repeated word. NOW I HAVE IT.
