I’m just going to say it: the best part of open-source federated social media is that you know the version number of the software you are using to share! I celebrate that # mastodon has reached release candidate 1 of version 4.2.0! (Also, can we just take a moment to acknowledge how awesome it is that we are “allowed” to edit posts and fix grammatical and spelling mistakes?)

I adore this scale model of the SNO detector (well, pieces of SNO so you can actually see things). The model currently lives in the common area of my floor in the surface building @ SNOLAB .
