      @maiyannah Using and promoting !foss is as valuable a contribution as developing it most of the time. Especially when it means that developers get motivated to continue - and doesn't have to do extra/boring stuff like all the surrounding documentation, PR, ideas, bug testing, etc. etc! :)

      And that whole "how to make money on foss" stuff is something I'll just leave alone.

      @orphean You mean when they dump old, outdated technology on people and get praises from the FOSS community? :P
      Don't get me wrong, I love the fact that they help the archival efforts (but while games/engines are released freely, artwork isn't...)... But it's not the same as cooperating on active, living projects.

      Unless ID have released libre stuff for their current projects that I don't know about.
