     I know people who love the five-fingers. I haven't tried them. I generally like more support than that although my hiking boots are flexy.

     @gomerx I started jogging with those bare feet shoes that are compatible with socks (without single toes). I really like them, my knees hurt a lot less after running in those than in regular running shoes.

     @rozzin I don't want to buy special socks for one pair of shoes. Especially during winter I like being able to wear thick socks in my running shoes.
