@geniusmusing The person who wrote that is over-eager with the term "depression". Even the (unmentioned) 1998-1999 recession, with after-effects that lasted a decade, doesn't even qualify. I'd say the 2008-2011 recession was borderline, it could easily have become something that we'd still be in today. And of course 1929 was a depression. But the others were not nearly severe e…
