That "Oh, shit" feeling when you're scrolling through the SQL of your only surviving DB backup and over 2,000 lines into the file, you still don't see any of the content that you were trying to preserve. There's still another 50% to go, but I may have bad news for a family member: your neglected Drupal site's content is gone. -

I'd put them all on a flash drive and turn them over, but when you're ready to rehost your site, I know you'll say "You had them and I never got them". Sigh. Never spearhead hosting for a family member's project. Always tell them to hire an outsider. If they're paying for it, they'll likely be more active in keeping it up-to-date with fresh content.
