   @sim I don't know that you can fix what happened in your home and schools during your childhood. I think you're better off finding a venue where you can grow and learn things that help you today, and maybe learn how to deal with deficiencies of the past without necessarily reliving the situations that bred them. .      @sim It seems to me that an Internet connection and a desire to learn can take you places that were formerly only available in institutions of higher learning. Plus, now you get to pick the subjects you learn, not the educrats running the school system.
