   @katiekats If you take it as a mindless action film, its a good action scene in the third act with a bunch of frankly boring shit in the middle and "oh my god this guy needs an editor badly" in the first.  I can see people liking the action scene, it was good and well-choreographed.  But I don't buy people saying the characters were that great, except maybe Chirrut (said blind guy)

    @katiekats Jyn at least had an arc, so that made her better than lass I can't even remember the name of from The Force Awakens.  But she's not really an empathetic character, neither her nor guy with really bad-sounding French accent were.
    
    I wonder if a single one of the new movies will have a male lead.  Oh, who are we kidding?  Of course they won't.
