   Okay, got the file thing figured - there's a table it saves the path to which it doesn't update if you change it in config.php that nothing tells you about.

    Looks like several instances are already communicating with the replacement instance, but I still get the old one on my DNS, go figure.

    Mostly because I'm finding myself about needing to lay down again so I can't babysit it.  Database takes about 10 minutes to restore form a dump so it's not a huge deal, dump it, upload, restore, done.
