@ericxdu23@loadaverage.org BTW Upcoming version of #AndStatus will even show you your draft (unsent) responses directly in this conversation tree.
Currently I'm testing this feature, and it's really fun to see my unsent fictitious replies in a real conversation.

@colegota@gnusocial.net As I understand, after that "problems at http://status.hackerposse.com/url/8072" that server actually became a new "Social network", because it started to reuse the same IDs that were already used before (and which should be unique). So ideally _all_ cached data about this server should be deleted from AndStatus. Unfortunately, "Delete Social network" f… -

Hi all, These are upcoming improvements in AndStatus. They are in testing now. Work stable already: 1. Drafts may be saved and edited later, like in any emailing application. 2. One "Clear and hide" action button replaced with two: "Save draft" and "Discard". 3. Attached images are immediately saved by AndStatus in its internal storage to avoid expiration of links and errors du… -

@colegota@gnusocial.net AndStatus sorts messages in a Timeline by "Sent date" in descending order. That "Sent date" is either a date, when a message was created or a date, when it was reblogged or updated later. The date that you see in a Timeline is always "Created date".
So in your case it looks like some old messages were resent for some reason: updated or reblogged or maybe (un)favorited?! -

@dalealplay@quitter.no @thefaico@loadaverage.org #AndStatus consumes less traffic, because: 1. It doesn't need to load the same messages more than once, because it caches them locally. 2. Just the same way it caches attachments, or you may restrict attachments syncing to WiFi only (this is default setting). 3. You decide on frequency of syncing. Or you may disable automatic sy… -

@mk@oracle.skilledtests.com I almost never go to a Web interface of the Social networks. This is why I can easily switch between them, keeping my data with me. Actually, this is an alternative to creation of your own server. -

@mk@oracle.skilledtests.com Maybe this is Web UI that doesn't support hierarchical conversations as you want it?! AndStatus easily allows to create and present hierarchical conversations in GNU Social, Twitter and Pump.Io.
Or I don't understand, what you mean by that? -

@mk@oracle.skilledtests.com But you, as a User, can help developers to understand, what is the best next feature to implement. As you already helped to improve AndStatus...
BTW, following your advices User's Guide extended and these additions already translated into Russian and Japanese. -

@mk@oracle.skilledtests.com AndStatus supports current version of the software, which was called StatusNet and which for the last two years evolves under the "GNU Social" name. Sticking to an old version of any software is a dead end, I think... But maybe only developers think so?! :-) Look at a list of useful, but not implemented yet improvements here: http://status.hackerpo…
