@roland Actually I don't like to see "Direct" as a separate timeline: this is really just a filter for messages, where I'm in a "To" field (i.e. one of message recipients, not necessarily the only one). Separation between Public and Private (non - Public) messages is far more important, but we don't have this separation in AndStatus UI yet. Read on this in http://status.hacker… -

@schtobia If you don't change default settings, related to synchronization, Home, Mentions and Direct timelines of all AndStatus accounts will be synchronized automatically and periodically, and all of them will be available offline. @johnnynull Thank you for suggestion. I thought about this, but nobody asked this so far, as I remember. And I personally get Direct / Private messages very rarely :-)

@vinzv I see, the unneeded empty space below your post is caused by <p> HTML element. Expected behavior.
If you still want to have HTML markup but don't like that empty space, the safest way is to get rid of that p element in the source, and not to ask AndStatus to "partially" strip HTML... ?!

@denommus@quitter.se #AndStatus loads Public Timeline from a server on demand only. So you can easily check, if all cached data was really cleared, by opening the Public Timeline just after cleaning of AndStatus data.
"Force stop" AndStatus by Android Application Manager before the cleaning. Otherwise data may be blocked by background processes and not deleted. -

You may browse closed tickets and find out how many wishes, even requests of the same users, were implemented and problems fixed.
