@kat This looks more like a GNU Social bug: In Twitter-compatible API length of an "attachment URL" should not be included in the count of the message ("notice") characters.

@mmn @heluecht@pirati.ca GNU Social and Friendica have APIs, "compatible" with Twitter REST API v.1.0, which is NOT current Twitter API for a couple of years. Moreover, Twitter removed documentation on that API from its site. So now we don't even have a golden source of "correct" implementation. @mariotaku Nice to see, users really like personalisation of their applications. We need to add an avatar and a "cover image" to a User profile in AndStatus somewhere...
BTW, does Twidere support a notion of a "Group" (User group...) in general and for GNU Social in particular? See/take part in a discussion on this: https://github.com/andstatus/andstatus/issues/248 -
