   @normandy What, you mean you can't ssh to your desktop in order to ssh on to the server?
   Before I got IPv6 everywhere (that counts), I regularly made chains of at least 4-5 ssh logins.

   @solariiknight So a good set of moderators and a small enough people-per-instance ratio is the way to go.
   
   If people want to post shit they can register anything anywhere and spam links to it in any forum. So there's no preventing the act from happening, only minimising damage and showing support to the ones who get hurt so they don't have to be ashamed or whatever.

    @weerosie Unfortunately Conversations is a lot better than most desktop apps, so some of the comfortable features won't be able on all clients that you might end up using :)

    @weerosie You can use any XMPP account you wish with Conversations. I'm using my self-hosted xmpp:mmn@hethane.se for example.

    @weerosie As @mikael said, get it through #F-Droid. Personally I've donated a couple of hundred SEK so far to the #Conversations developer because I get everyone to install it without paying the Google tax. :)

    @weerosie Conversations in undoubtedly the best !XMPP application. Only downer is that it doesn't support Jingle for VoIP (it seems to be capable of using Jingle for file transfers though).
