   @stigatle Apart from #KeePassX I also use email tagging (user+tag@domain.com) to differentiate email addresses as usernames nowadays (or make use of having a catch-all at my email domain name). That takes care of 99.9999[...]% of automated leak attacks ;)

    Otherwise an #ownCloud or #MediaGoblin instance is great for uploading, archiving and storing, then you can either link to or embed from those places wherever you want to share the photos.
    
    Don't Instagram horribly ruin, compress and otherwise mangle uploaded images? Not really a good way to share, eh.

    @colegota I started fixing some other things related to PuSH, but mainly in order to make whatever I need to do to fix this issue easier ;)
    
    Probably I just have to resubscribe, but I want to make sure that people can't just send broken PuSH notifications and force the server to do a bunch of unnecessary processing (i.e. I want to avoid an opportunity for DDoS).

    @colegota Yeah it fails PuSH signature validation, which is common with http/https confusion in !GNUsocial. Maybe I can solve this once and for all now that I have a concrete example where people don't start fiddling in their databases manually ;)
