Not calling #sonOne today for our weekly #videochat because I want #GD1 and #GD2 to focus on their mom.

My 12 year old ( #GD1 ) and 8 year old ( #GD2 ) granddaughters were animated and playful today. I suppose it means they went to bed on time last night. They usually stay up late on Saturday and then are sluggish all day Sunday, which is when I have my weekly #videochat with them and their dad #sonOne.

Finished today’s #YoCo ( #yogurt and #coffee ) already. Good morning and #TZAG. Yesterday, I drank double my usual amount of (decaffeinated) coffee and my usual amount of water, as the resurgent cold kept converting fluids into mucus. #sonTwo installed a "storm door" on the enclosed porch, so that they can sit outside in the evenings during the warmer part of the year. Today's #videochat with him and #GS3 took place out there. My grandson--like his father--is really texture oriented, so he likes the door mat. But other than that, he's not especially thrilled about a small area with no entertainment. He kept pointing at the door and babbling.

No answer when I called #sonOne today for our weekly #videochat. I guess I could have called one of his daughters, but I didn't. My daughter-in-law's birthday is sometime this month, so they may be celebrating.

We had our first family #videochat last evening on #Jitsi_Meet. There were some occasional quality issues ... possibly because three of us were connecting from different rooms here. Added to whatever game #lazyNephew was playing, it may have saturated the connection. My oldest brother was unable to connect, but no one has followed up to try to figure out why. His granddaughter …
