#sonOne informed me that their cellphones are back in service, so I started the morning by sending #GD1 and #GD2 some garden photos. Then I thought it wasn't fair that I rarely communicate with their older brothers #GS1 and #GS2, so I sent them a couple of pictures also. -

Heard back from #sonOne. His phone died, so he's been using the work phone and forgot to pay the bill. The phones will be turned back on this month. No other bills are unpaid and they have plenty of food. -

@geniusmusing The routers at work are centrally managed by another agency, so no experience to recommend by. I know #sonOne is using a #Ubiquiti router with #Wi-Fi, but I don't know specifics. -

The hydrocortisone cream seems to have helped. Skin is a lot less itchy than it was earlier.
I don't think the cream is the reason I am sleepy and have a mild headache. Skipped this week's #videochat with #sonOne, #GD1, #GD2. Probably #naptime. -

#sonOne told his daughters ( #GD1, age 12; #GD2, age 8 ) about the two cops that used to stop me every morning on my way to school (at gunpoint, naturally) to harass me. Including a daily Interpol check, to make sure I wasn't an international terrorist. Something about a Black kid with an armful of books, I guess.
He's trying to give them more personal connections to the events of the day. -

#sonOne is working 10-12 hours per day, mostly remote. #sonTwo is working 16 hours per day on-site. I need to ask them both whether there is any rioting near them. I already asked #Daddy_A, but he has not answered yet. -

I remember two slightly older friends of #sonOne’s. Both had gotten jobs and bought mini pickup trucks after high school, but were both broke and single. One of them bought a blow-up doll and tied it to the bed of the other one’s truck. They passed it back and forth for a few months. Finally, one young man’s mom saw the doll and blew a gasket.
