That board broke during travel, so I may repurpose the SBC once I find it again. -

I intend to leave a couple of #raspi 0w devices and one #orange_pi zero device as #boinc clients. -

See https://www.pjon.org/ ... I mean sometime soon. I’m definitely not doing it tonight.

If someone were to set up a #RasPi to be a node on one of these types of #peer-to-peer networks, would they need to set up NAT passthrough, or do their protocols already include something like STUN / TURN? Mostly an academic question, as I’m not willing to po… -

That's likely to leave each site with less resources than if each was hosted on its own #RasPi somewhere. -
Joshua Judson Rosen (rozzin)'s status on Tuesday, 25-Jun-2019 15:16:41 EDT Joshua Judson Rosen The most interesting thing in the #raspi4 news is USB 3—*not* because it's USB3 per se, but because it's a change from the #raspi3: of all the #raspi HW bugs, one of the biggest thru 3b+ has been "supports only 7(!) USB bulk endpoints".

Joshua Judson Rosen (rozzin)'s status on Sunday, 15-Apr-2018 12:53:53 EDT Joshua Judson Rosen The idea of `travel kit #raspi' does lend a certain appeal to the #Pi-Top #hardware, similarly to realization from #OLPC that kids really do need to be able to take their !education tools with them. Wondering why nobody seems to be talking about that. -

Chimo (chimo)'s status on Tuesday, 11-Jul-2017 19:50:22 EDT Chimo Moved my #raspi root partition to my external TB drive:
1. TB: Shrink 'data' partition
2. TB: Create new 'root' partition
3. rsync raspi "/" to TB's new partiton
4. rpi: Tell /boot/cmdline.txt where the new root partition is
5. rpi: Add "/" entry to /etc/fstab
6. rpi: Reboot
That was fun :) -
