@amish as @taknamay said, you only need one account in an instance. You can then follow other users that belong to other instances, and then you can communicate with each other. I suggest reading the FAQ to learn more about how !qvitter and !gnusocial works.

!gnusocial !qvitter !quitterno there should be like "remote follow" and "remote favorite" buttons, or whatever the equivalent that is for vanilla gs.

@mannvielernamen Man darf @mmn für !gnusocial und @hannes2peer für !qvitter jederzeit Bug Reports geben und konstruktive Vorschläge machen. Nur so kann das Projekt weiter gedeihen.

@mmn With javascript detection to load the !qvitter UI if it's available.
It's all really hacky and probably won't work at some points. Haw haw.

I've made the #quitter.is and #quitter.es instances render non !qvitter by default now, to allow for the "classic" !GNUsocial site to be indexed and crawled with all the magic markup and stuff that is available in that layout.

Hi all,
I notice that new user email confimation messages are not sent. Users need to go to their email settings stop confirmationproccess and renter email to finaly receive email.
Is this a known problem?
Is there a solution for it?

@zewa !gnusocial und !qvitter sind in Entwicklung, da gibt es immer mal Änderungen resp. Erweiterungen. Aber beim Layout habe ich jetzt nichts gesehen.

@slash Ist so - ich fahre die eigene Instanz auf eigenem Server und habe den Hintergrund so eingestellt. Individuelle Einstellung ist noch ein schlummerndes Feature - !gnusocial und die Oberfläche !qvitter sind durch Freiwillige weiter in Entwicklung - müsstest dich also noch etwas gedulden :-)

Hi All,
I have a problem joining the group from my new server at http://gnus.wideweb.me Log excerpt available at http://gnus.wideweb.me/gnu.log It seems to complain about bad requests.
I tried other groups to with the same result.
Anyone nudge me in the right direction :-)

@maoyuuzeta A group is like a hashtag that people join. You just go to the group page and click on "Join" e.g. !gnusocial !qvitter

@hikerus Haha, I see! It seems that !qvitter removes the # (hash) character for some reason. Check the non-qvitter interface and you'll see the hashes.

@gus Markera texten, Ctrl+P, "Skriv ut till fil" och välj "PDF" (vilket man kan göra i alla vettiga operativsystem och webbläsare).
Jag är inte säker på om du kan ladda upp icke-bilder i !qvitter dock. Så man kan behöva göra det med det gamla gränssnittet om man inte bara laddar upp någon annanstans + länkar.
