@knuthollund: I'd say don't remove it, but perhaps rephrase it? On #quitter.is I tell them _why_ donations are appreciated: "This site is not financed with advertisement. Consider donating [...]" (+ letting people know who the admin is, so they get a contact as well). -

How much memory do you allow PHP to use? Try adding a megabyte or two to PHP ini variable "memory_limit" (32MiB is default I think, and I've had trouble on #quitter.is when using less than that) -
