@thefaico @allanviega Since @knuthollund (Kollektivet 0x242, #quitter.no) pays for the domain name #quitter.es I think the donations should go there! And he accepts Paypal.
The actual physical running costs of the site aren't very large, as I don't have to pay electricity for it etc.

@knuthollund I'll chime in that you're also covering costs for #quitter.es and #quitter.no domain names as it is now and that any users of those services should consider if they perhaps could instead of the next worthless purchase they're going to make could donate that sum instead!

@roland @hikerus Yeah and it's pretty neat to do it with 'git pull'. This is what I do to update !gnusocial on #quitter.es and #quitter.is (including !Qvitter):
cd ~/htdocs && bash scripts/stopdaemons.sh && git pull && php scripts/upgrade.php && bash scripts/startdaemons.sh && cd local/plugins/Qvitter/ && git pull
(symlinked ~/htdocs to the site's root directory)

@abjectio Hm, could you set #quitter.is nameservers to the same as for #quitter.es? That is, ns1.hethane.se ns2.hethane.se and ns3.hethane.se (actually, ns3 isn't on quitter.es, but you could add it there too if you want).
I need to update the IP and it's easiest if I can do that on my own nameservers :]

PS. Du kan ladda upp videoklipp på #quitter.es! (men de måste vara relativt korta och i #WebM-format). Kommer ej heller ihåg hur väl !qvitter hanterar det, men om det önskas så kan jag och @hannes2peer säker fixa ihop det. (han ska ju förvisso iväg och cykla i två veckor så jag antar att det hamnar på mig).

@nidron Det är invite-only på !umehack's server men jag bjöd in dig i början av din quitter-karriär. Fast #quitter.es är förstås också coolt (pga ännu fler spanjorer!!).
Misstänker att just detta inlägg hamnar hos .se-nidron och inte .es-nidron, men det kommer det inte att göra i framtiden!

@hannes2peer Bara för att förtydliga så har jag inte på något sätt tänkt göra URIn till nickname eller så. Det var främst för att det är smidigare att få folk att t.ex. dubbel-erbjuda social + XMPP med samma användardatabas (som jag gör på #quitter.es). Ingen har hakat på den trenden dock... Vad jag _vill_ göra är att ens URI ska vara fingeravtryck…
