#RIP MES; your work-shy demise made the world is much less dark, sadly. Shane Patrick Lysaght #MacGowan hasn't written so much as a shopping list for twenty years, and his thrice-broken hip plus the passing of the indispensable Philip Chevron has put an end to #Pogues nostalgia gigs. For all I know, Nick Cave is playing Las Vegas.

I was the same with the #Pogues at the Hordern Pavillion in #Sydney 2012. The Broad Majestic Shannon always gets me for some reason.
