@coolboymew You're not wrong, but I have multiple tablets. The only one I generally enjoy using is the Samsung S4 with a keyboard attachment and their Dex software. Basically, it turns #Android into a desktop OS, with applications running in their own windows. But of course, at that point, it isn't really a tablet. It's a mini-laptop.

Is there an #Android language learning app on #F-droid that people would recommend?
Likewise for #iOS ... I tried DuoLingo, but the gamification and resulting frequent notifications felt like harassment (not to mention my not being interested in creating the membership that it often pushed for). I deleted it. -

So after years of periodically trying, tonight for the first time ever, I was able to connect to an eepsite ( #I2P ). But only to the first page on that site.
Using i2P for #Android with the internal browser and default settings. I’m not really sure what it offers or why someone would use it, given the experience of it never working before (and not correctly now). -

It is mostly okay using the #Android tablet on my hotspot (no #VPN) when I’m out of high speed data. Everything works, just slowly. The #iOS tablet is on the supposedly faster #hotel_Wi-Fi (with VPN) and some things work intermittently, if at all. Before you ask, yes, I did try putting the iPad on the hotspot without the VPN. No improvement. -

BTW in Android 8.1 news I read that this newest version of #Android could be run on devices with only 1GB or RAM...
