I don't think we could answer that without rewinding past at least 40 years of Hollywood movies. What did the oral and written Robin Hood stories say about his goals? It's too easy to rely on what one saw in a movie and not consider what influence the movie's writers, producers, directors may have had on the interpretation of the stories presented. -

Fun fact: I wrote a single story for one of the newspapers where family members worked. I needed to drive ~50 miles to sign some papers and pick up my paycheck, but I was busy with work and classes and never did. -

A zillion years ago, a friend from college did the Ex-Lax diet so she could join the US Army. Once in, she regained the weight and wound up getting kicked out* with a "lose the weight and stay out of trouble and you can come back in a year". Last time I saw her, she was a part-time security guard, renting a room at her sister's house. * I'm sure that more happened to help them … -

@simsa03 It is because after so many years in Congress, Sanders has been unable to enact very much of his agenda. Moving to the White House won't suddenly make Congress listen to him (which is why both Obama and Trump have issued so many executive orders attempting to go around Congress). -

When I'm on my walks, I don't wave or say hi to anyone unless they do it first. In recent days, this is happening more often. I've probably been greeted by (and greeted in response) people who live on this same street, one person that lives around the corner, two other pedestrians, and one bicyclist. I had only spoken to one of them before. -

It’s cool to be able to visualize some of these patterns (influenza subtype, ages, number of patients per week), though there are patterns which may be deceiving (Is influenza A/H3’s spread among the elderly caused by greater susceptibilty, or is it just happening to be going strong in convalescent care homes?) -
