At the current number of php-fpm worker processes, I'm not seeing any "we've reached our limit" messages in the logs and not having to restart the process as often (1-2x/week instead of the previous 1-4x/day) -

A small city in #SoCal around four decades ago: Local police have a young Hispanic man handcuffed. They walk him toward the police cruiser where they will eventually put him in the back and take him away. But they take out their clubs and start beating him for no apparent reason. One of the people in the neighborhood (a White lady, probably in her 40s) asks "why are you beating… -

@mangeurdenuage Are they the ones that "sting" if you touch them? I'm familiar with stinging nettles because of trailwalks, but maybe there are other kinds of nettles. -

I guess what I am saying is that if the people most likely to benefit from your presence are sick of your shit, you have been crossing the line for way too long. -

idk that the chief is the problem. It's the union. The chief is relatively new (2017). He's the first black police chief in Minneapolis. I really don't know what tools are at anyone's disposal, but the MPD has long legacy and people are sick of it. I'm sure not everyone agrees, but this is the sentiment in possibly the poshest part of what you might consider downtown, aka my … -

https://sqlite.org/c3ref/intro.html is what a driver for #SQLite would need to present to the library.
#ODBC driver (SQLite wrapper) http://www.ch-werner.de/sqliteodbc/ with connection string from https://www.connectionstrings.com/sqlite3-odbc-driver/
Don’t know whether https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=DevartSoftware.SQLiteODBCDriver3264bit and https://download.cnet.com/SQLite-ODBC-driver-32-64-bit/3000-10254_4-77414954.html are the same driver or different ones. -

Oh, yes. I'm pretty sure that #JDBC driver is produced by someone external to the #SQLite project. I've used it before (using #SquirrelSQL to look at a database) and it seemed okay. -

and I probably should have been more clear...looking for people using sqlite in their dev work, not the actual devs of the project. I want to know some of the stuff surround driver usage like what you were saying about it being embedded in the application. -

We were specifically asked about supporting drivers. I told sales we needed more information from the customer and they said we could talk about it next week. I suspect my research will be the only research that has been done, for a variety of reasons. We were able to say yes to a lot of the ask, so I just don't think this is particularly high on the priority list. Sometimes, w… -

@musicman Has he called the City Council into emergency session? If MPLS is like most cities, the mayor and council will have to replace the entire police commission in order to be sure they can fire the police chief and PD’s upper hierarchy. I’m trying to avoid as much news as possible, but he’s also going to have to start pushing *hard* against the police union on the … -

@musicman Probably not, but there may be a #JDBC driver for #SQLite on the SQLite.org site, along with #ODBC. Drivers are less necessary there, because the database software (in this case, the SQLite C library) is usually embedded within the application. -

Thin clouds overhead, but it has cooled it a little. So far, temperature seems to have stayed below 90F, but 30% relative humidity, while a lot less than most of the country, is still enough to remove some of the benefit of this environment.
This is nothing like Mississippi, thank God, but it would be a little more pleasant if it was more arid. -

Hard to see Frey getting re-elected after this. Why wait until today to pull the curfew button? I guess we will see how he takes on the police force. Same thing for Carter.
So far, Walz is coming out of this looking pretty good, I think. -

So the supervisor says he is going to look into everything and if he finds everything is as I've been stating in my monthly billing call, they'll process a partial refund. They said something similar last month.
