Indoor temperature is in that range (85F / 29C and up) where I start to feel sleepy (but I cannot sleep because it is too hot, so it isn’t #naptime after all). -

In the school district where one of my sisters teaches, they issued Chromebooks to the kids. Then they realized they had locked the devices onto the school district's network, so they had to unlock them. I don't know what they did for kids without home Internet.
Another sister's district issued hotspots for Internet access, but they had more needy kids than they had devices. -

this is NOT the talk I was talking about giving.
I am not exactly sure why this has come to me except that it is something that I need to learn, and it is an intro talk. We have #Camel experts on the team (people that have given talks on it at ApacheCon, for example) -

http://status.hackerposse.com/url/21707 Some of these would be good points if they were actual design goals for Fediverse software or communication protocols. They aren’t, of course. One can tell they weren’t goals by looking at the outputs. For instance, there was a big deal made over adding some robots.txt rules to Mastodon instances, but not all crawler bots obey that… -

The #t-storm slowed and changed direction. It is now heading East at 5MPH. Now golf ball sized hail, 60MPH wind gusts, continuing cloud-to-ground lightning. It still could hit parts of Springfield. -

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D3_PsufM554 I remember watching “Yuusha Raideen” on Los Angeles TV-22 years ago. Seeing it again, it isn’t quite like I recalled it. (I also watched “Speed Racer” on Los Angeles TV-52.)
So my question now is, does this count as anime? -

I’ve never had the patience to root one of my phones or tablets. I have the device because I want to use it. If I want to fiddle, I’ll install Arch Linux on something, so I can fix things that updates break. (To be fair, that has also happened occasionally on Gentoo, but not nearly as often.)
