     @discussthang It was more that the bang tag will deliver stuff to the home timeline of group members. So the content should be on topic, not just slightly related ;)
     But yes I think an emotional response was a bit unnecessary, but I don't think anyone meant anything mean with it. .)

     @discussthang It's easy to determine when to use the bang tag though. When you want to passively categorize stuff related to GNUsocial, use #. When you have something that should come to the attention of its members, use !. :)
