Pagers in healthcare settings.

Honestly, if the $1-$5/month “cheap beep” providers were still around, I’d be okay with using a pager as my primary (and cut way back on the cellular telephone service plan).

(Current speaker has an application that cuts back on notifications, including those sent via e-mail, cellular phone robocalls, or pager.)
