   I should probably listen to more CC-licensed, non-RIAA music, but a huge chunk of what I listen to comes from the period from the late 1950s through the early 1990s, and most of that is from the early 1970s through the middle 1980s.
   
   And surprisingly, I occasionally discover artists and groups that I was not aware of, despite sometimes having listened to some of their songs at the time.
