    As for banning end-to-end encryption, one of the best arguments is this: right now, a lot of big search, social networking, and chat / messaging sites are US-based, but banning E2EE will immediately handicap them in the rest of the world and move everyone to foreign providers that will not have this problem. In effect, this bill could kill the economy's tech sector.
