Some of our local municipal governments are denouncing police brutality in the #George_Floyd case (as they should) without speaking to their own histories of brutality and killings (which they should also should address).

It is hypocritical to denounce police killings halfway across the country without also dealing with your own locality’s history of unprovoked beatings and killings.
