   It would be worth a one-day trip to #Sac just to visit the farmers market there. Besides various fruits and vegetables, they have some ace smoked salmon and some very good bread.

     There used to be a couple of them in this area. One of them had some handmade jewelry vendors, but not a large number of fruit / nuts / vegetable vendors. ( Though the pistachios were really good. )
     
     The other one was larger, but the primary reason I ever went there was the Samoan-recipe BBQ chicken truck.
