I spoke to my sixty-something neighbor today. First time. He uses either a walker or a wheelchair to get around, so I asked him if he needed me to pick up anything for him at the store. I still haven’t spoken to the neighbor on the other side. I’ve spoken with the guy across the street exactly twice in five years. The most recent time was Thanksgiving Day.
