I need to track down some bread recipes. The ones in the booklet that came with the breadmaker produce a very tough outer crust. Half the last loaf went to the ravens because no one would eat it.
Maybe their recipes need some adjustment due to the peculiarities of this location. (temperature, humidity, and so on)

Let's see: Sourdough that doesn't taste like someone just poured vinegar in regular bread. Whole wheat. Half-wheat (brownish, but using both white and wheat flour). Eventually something like banana or zucchini bread.
