     I guess the “influencer” isn’t the one managing a company’s account. Instead, this person shows up with their iPhone XXIII Plus Ultra, takes a few pics of the place and its employees, posts “Yo, I’m at [company name], where [product or service] is 20% off if you show up before 4PM”.
     
     And, of course, gets gullible followers to surge in to the business, buying whatever “special” has been suggested.
