   Message from #F-Droid informing that Firefox Klar has a serious unpatched vulnerability. They recommend removal.
   
   I guess that means it is abandoned? Is the Play version (Firefox Focus) similarly vulnerable, or is there just no current maintainer?

     It's that Gecko vulnerability, it's been fixed in the mainline, of course.
