@jessiscah I have a friend whose very much in the same place. I wish I was in a place I could help the people that are in that kind of place, but being below the poverty line myself all I can offer is that you're not alone in those thoughts. It seems like only the popular transpeople get a lot of support and it ends up communicating that you are apparently only allowed to exist as a transperson if people like you.

@jessiscah For me it's all I *can* do for anyone, and I've felt really rotten seeing a couple friends in really bad financial places and not had any money to really assist them, but I have enough trouble keeping food in the house (well, the room I rent) for myself some months :/

@jessiscah It's frustrating, isn't it? I don't know what to say than that, because while I'm not in the "trans" shoes so to speak, a lot of people I know complain about things I deal with very often myself, and yet they could easily make them go away. I don't usually have that option because I don't have the money. OTOH, I'm not really sure I'd trade the emotion…
