@gameragodzilla @katiekats If DNF's development was troubled, Last Guardian's has been absolutely tortured. We've seen games where this has been so that the better game could merge (see Doom 4) but we've also seen plenty where this is because they had no clue what they were doing. Se we'll see.

It's a little like Sunless Sea in that the actual good moments are quite good, but there is a lot of dead space in between them that drags down the pacing considerably. As frustrating as the Dark Souls controls can be on PC, DS1's environmental storytelling is second only to Thief 2 in my book.
