Development on libreboot seems pretty much stalled. I checked out of curiosity today and the only stuff that's been done is shuffling around of documentation stuff. I guess they're more worried about supporting the "pure" distros and the other anti-GNU/FSF screed Leah's pushed, rather than, you know, the actual software.

@maiyannah Another factor is that there are not many x86 systems without ME or the AMD equivalent, and doing anything about that is hard.

@bob Coreboot's got plenty of stuff going on, comparatively, though I do wish they weren't so reliant on blobs.

@maiyannah it's the blobs which make things hard, because they will be ME shaped blobs and including those in libreboot would be self-defeating.

@bob Well, LibreBoot would have to have some progress for anything defeating it to be a problem so it's not in any danger.
