    Found out that one app on my #iPad, “Dash”, has gigs of data. I could update the tablet if I deleted the app, but I will not. I doubt that #iOS 14 has anything that I would call “better”.

    The new puppy is exuberant and chew-crazy. She is already as tall on four legs as the human child is on two. The combination means she knocks him down a lot. The older dog tries to restrain the younger dog, but they're roughly the same size and the puppy is more energetic.

    I've been reading "The Mama Book" (I think the official title is "Everything's Mama") by Jimmy Fallon. $GS3 is starting to say "Mama" at the right places, but he still calls his mom "Dadda" (slight pronunciation difference between dadda = daddy and dadda = mommy).

    The trip here was uneventful, except a piblic safety alert shut down the tram my terminal. Thirteen people from my 2nd flight were stranded and had to make other arrangements. Most had to stay overnight and fly in the morning.

    Came in late, after #GS3 was in bed. The noise woke him, and he didn't immediately connect the face and voice from #videochat with the sttanger in his house. But after he was rested, he called me dadda (same name he calls both parents).
    
    I'm at 12K steps today, and my steps are a lot bigger than his. I swear I never had his level of energy.

    Arrival was delayed because department of public safety declared an alert and shut down the tram to my terminal. Thirteen passengers were on the tram and had to get flights rescheduled. Four of us made it onto the two hours later flight. The rest are catching a flight tomorrow.
