   @geniusmusing @amic I'd guess that it depends on what you're doing and which certification you get. But I don't really know. I do know that #sonOne wound up working as a Network Engineer during or shortly after he picked up 5 certs, but he'd been working in a little shop that installed central phone systems in small businesses and had also spent 6 years in the USNavy doing electronics and "stuff".

    Now that I've had a little time to see them in action, I'm not a fan of the installable services on the #NAS. For example, If I upload a photo of #GS3 (to "/photo" AKA the photos folder) I don't necessarily want to share it with everyone in the house. I should have to intentionally select "share", otherwise, it should be handled in a more private-ish manner. I think #Synology made some bad decisions.

    I was seriously thinking the #Synology #NAS's weird permissions settings and the collection of client apps were too much hassle for a limited benefit. But being able to play the same song on every device I own when I'm in reach of the home #Wi-Fi is a powerful attractant.
