   @sim Part of this is a myth. "Better", more expensive restaurants usually use the most of the same quality and nutrition reducing shortcuts as fast food restaurants do. Their food is not usually healthier. When poor people don't eat out, they eat packaged microwave meals or "add water and cook for 15 minutes" meals that are even worse than eating out.
