   Mostly asdf and e. F1 turns off the HUD, but rarely gets used. Can't imagine what app uses F1 a lot.

   Linux from Scratch system is working now. Next I'll need to do some configuration and start building software (like a browser and openssh)

   Alright. Latest LFS kernel boots without video corruption problems. Now can't mount the root filesystem. This is a problem I can handle.

    Linux From Scratch system boots, but the screen is garbled. Screwed up the kernel frame buffer configuration. It can be tricky.

    Yes. I know it's necessary for formatting man pages and is used in printing, but never bothered to learn how it works.

    Yes. I built the hardware. The OS is CentOS. A Linux from Scratch server would be interesting, but a lot of work.
