@maiyannah Well it seems that !GNUsocial didn't parse a proper http/https URL link for some reason causing the permalink to go to a local representation of the notice instead. On my side the [permalink] (classic view) refers to https://social.umeahackerspace.se/notice/433669 which is obviously incorrect :)

@bastianilso Aha, that sounds cool. I assume the upload service is configurable. I'll have to see if it's easy enough for me to make a !GNUsocial image upload thing - at least in my use cases I often upload images here and then link them on #IRC :)

@maiyannah The static functions in !GNUsocial code should of course be fixed though! If there's something that only gets called statically but is not defined like that, I'd be happy to merge such fixes :)

...yeah I went ahead and removed it now (pushing to nightly) so if you want to see what I was talking about, just append /microsummary to your !GNUsocial profile URL.

There's some Mozilla documentation on https://wiki.mozilla.org/Microsummaries but support for it was removed in Firefox 6.0, so I think I'll go ahead and remove it from !GNUsocial too...
