@xosem vamos por partes... Para mi la (presunta) comunidad de !gnusocial la formamos todas. Tanto las personas que desarrollan y mantienen como las que lo utilizamos. La respuesta rápida a la pregunta de dónde están las personas que desarrollan (y mantienen) es el canal #social de Freenode en el IRC. @merce @icaria36 también puedes aprovechar para medio explicarlo un poco con una frase del tipo "se federan o comunican entre ellas formando una única red".
Por cierto, se federan las instancias y las redes. Las instancias de Mastodon entre ellas, los nodos de !gnusocial entre ellos y todas con todos.

I hope that #GNUSocial will get #ActivityPub server to user protocol, at last. Thus opening a door for young and ambitious developers eager to change the world.
Regarding #AndStatus performance, it's already noticeably better in v.39. And Timelines open even faster in v.40, which I plan to post for Beta testing later today...

@knuthollund so to me it now looks like that #someone-out-there creates lots of IPv4 connections to http://status.hackerposse.com/url/17460's webserver. And that explains why the local user gets "connection failed" with Firefox so often with IPv4. You mean how !OStatus is kind of exactly that, because it just extends ordinary blogs with some social metadata but in the end it's technically the same thing as a blog's feed beefed up with a push-callback-service instead of reinventing the wheel entirely with ActivityPub? .P
