@allanviega Entiendo. Pero el punto más débil ahora mismo en !gnusocial es que no hay federación para mensajes privados y por tanto, tampoco para grupos. Si todos estáis en el mismo nodo/instancia deberíais, en teoría, poder formar un grupo privado. Y por cierto, ¿vais a montar una instancia nueva de gnusocial en vuestra universidad?

@roland @vinzv Die Presse hat doch keine Ahnung, ws !gnusocial und !diaspora sind. Das wäre dann wieder so ein Geschwurbel über Darknet – uuuh – dunkel.

Leider wird es die Presse anders schreiben, dass auch die #ISIS in !gnusocial und !diaspora angekommen sind und dort ihre Propaganda verbreiten. Dass die geloescht worden sind, indem Muttersprachler gefragt werden, steht dann nur hier im Netz.

#Bug-Hunt on !gnusocial continues: Some remote profiles don't have green "Remote profile options..." box hovering over it in some views (e.g. Home) even when they are followed by the user. Example: @jrm@quitter.no has no such "hover box" over his avatar.

@cmhobbs I would suggest getting a separate XMPP account, which you only use as an alternative !gnusocial feed reader ;) (and then have that feed show up with irssi-xmpp instead of generating a phone notification each time) cc: @jim @lnxw48 Maybe the !xmpp plugin should allow setting a specific resource to send to as well, then you wouldn't get the message to your phon…

I left my instance URL inside the #social room on IRC. I am looking to find who is in control of gnu.io so I can ask to be put on the !gnusocial instances list. I think my servers setup pretty beefy now.

Decided to start working on the branding of my !gnusocial instance on my own... Editing png's and whatnot. So far on my first try I've got the pixels lined up correctly. So I think I'll do okay.
