After a two week break, it was great to be refreshed and back at SMU to start summer research with one of the 4 students I will be working with this summer. Looking forward to ramping up work with the others and getting into a regular work rhythm again.

I was so happy that @profcooley and I could welcome a few current or future graduate students to our home for a cookout. It was great to catch up with people in person and to just be able to be people again.
